Newton’s Arnold to run cross country at Northwestern College

Newton senior Presley Arnold will attend Northwestern College after high school. He plans to run cross country for the Raiders and may join the track and field team, too. "I wasn’t going to run, but I met the coach and the team on my visit," Arnold said. "I ran with them and attended a practice. That sold me. The team dynamic and the coach were awesome. I’m looking forward to it now." Arnold said he considered going to school at Iowa and Northern Iowa before picking Northwestern. He plans to major in Youth Ministry and Biblical and Theological studies. "Northwestern stood out because of the people, the community and it had more of what I was looking for," Arnold said.
