I will pray

It would be easy to fight back and debate the sad commentary written by Marc Dion in Tuesday’s Newton Daily News. It is obvious this journalist doesn’t know Jesus and has no understanding of God’s written Word.

Instead, I chose to do what Jesus teaches us to do; I will pray. I will pray for Marc Dion who based his commentary on a sad, faithless empty heart. I will pray for the Newton Daily News which felt compelled to print such an article and do so based on the First Amendment. And, I will pray for those who support such negative and hopeless thinking, for scripture says “every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.”

Finally, I will continue to pray for our nation which has fallen to Satan’s ability to deceive and discredit Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins; especially this type of hollow journalism.
