Kudos to Sherman Swank in Thursday’s editorial “Boycott the NFL.” While I agree with the football players, I feel strongly they could have used another method of protest.
To disrespect our country and our precious flag is not the proper way to do it.
What is this saying to all the foreign countries who keep a watchful eye on happenings in the USA?
Now that they have made their point, let them now stand tall and go on to play football, which we love to watch.
Surely God is watching over this and he always wins.
