Regarding the recent letter to the editor about painted crosses on a rock: Lets also remove “In God We Trust” from our national currency since we’re so successful at banning God from every other aspect of our lives.
Then how about padlocking all the doors to the churches, tossing out the hymnals, firing the preachers and removing all Bibles from the face of the earth? Here’s an idea: If you’re so offended by the sight of a cross, avert your eyes. Problem solved. Just saying.
