JEWELL — The Colfax-Mingo wrestling team managed just four wins against Heart of Iowa Athletic Conference rival South Hamilton on Thursday night.
Jake Dunsbergen won his 182-pound match by fall, Garrett Chapman claimed a win by decision at 220 and Colton Lourens scored a major decision at 145, but the Tigerhawks fell 44-19.
The other six points came from a forfeit win by Jac Fisher at 120.
Colfax-Mingo also was scheduled to wrestle HOIAC foe Nevada, but the Cubs were not allowed back into Nevada High School after a bomb threat and had to back out of competing.
South Hamilton led Colfax-Mingo 18-0 after the first three matches were decided by fall.
The Hawks collected five pins and a technical fall in the dual.
Colfax-Mingo returned to the mats Tuesday for a home triangular with Lynnville-Sully and Southeast Warren.
The Tigerhawks wrestle at home at 6 p.m. on Dec. 18 and will face conference rival North Polk and West Central Valley.
C-M also competes in the Lynnville-Sully duals at 10 a.m. on Dec. 20.
