WOODWARD — Emma Beyer finished 4-0, Hadley Millang had her hand raised three times and nine Mustangs won at least twice during the Woodward-Granger dual tournament on Dec. 1.
The PCM girls wrestling team split its four duals, defeating North Polk and Clarke and losing to host Woodward-Granger and Dallas Center-Grimes.

In PCM’s 42-23 win over Clarke, the Mustangs were 2-3 in contested matches, took five of the six forfeits and there were three double forfeits.
Millang and Addison Fry won their contested matches by fall at 135 and 115 pounds, respectively. The forfeits were taken by Ryan DeVore (110), Courtney Cole (120), Holly Wood (140), Macie Kain (145) and Beyer (170).
PCM edged North Polk by criteria after claiming six forfeit wins. Millang won her match at 135, and it was a pin that took just 11 seconds, but the Mustangs were 1-3 in contested matches.
Wood, Kain, Carly Wilkerson (155), Beyer, Lily Birkenholtz (190) and Emilyn Davis (235) all took forfeits at their weights.
Woodward-Granger finished 5-2 in contested matches against PCM and won the dual 48-28.
Wilkerson claimed a pin in 17 seconds at 155 and Beyer posted an 18-7 major decision win at 170. Both teams took three forfeits, and those wins from PCM were taken by Birkenholtz, DeVore and Fry.
Millang claimed the only contested win in the Mustangs’ 60-18 loss to DCG. She won by fall in the first period. Beyer and Cole took forfeits, but PCM was 1-7 in contested matches and 2-3 in forfeit wins.
Beyer finished the night 4-0 with three forfeit wins, Millang was 3-1 with three pins and Wood, Kain, Wilkerson, Birkenholtz, DeVore, Fry and Cole all went 2-2.
