Baxter’s Sulzle duo earns all-conference volleyball recognition

Junior Denver Sulzle led the Bolts in kills and senior Caydence Sulzle was tops in both digs and aces in her final volleyball season.

That helped the Baxter duo earn all-conference honors this past season. Denver Sulzle was named to the second team of the Iowa Star Conference South Division and Caydence Sulzle earned honorable mention recognition.

All-conference recognition is based on statistics inside conference play only. Baxter’s numbers are from five of the seven conference matches.

Denver Sulzle’s 20 kills led the team, and she also finished with two blocks, seven digs and five aces and was 43-of-49 in serves.

Caydence Sulzle led the Bolts with 69 digs and 21 aces and also totaled four kills and two assists. She was 77-of-85 in serves.
