Jack Bowlin led Class A in receptions and receiving yards, Dawson James ranked first in the class in solo tackles and Ben Squires helped the Lynnville-Sully football team rank in the top five in offensive touchdowns this past fall.
All three Hawk seniors were recognized with an all-state honor by the Iowa Football Coaches Association recently.

Bowlin was a first-teamer at wide receiver, James earned first-team honors as a linebacker and Squires was part of the second team as an offensive lineman.
The Hawks posted their second season with at least nine wins since 2018 after going 9-2.
James led Class A with 77 solo tackles and also ranked second with 95 tackles and a school-record 22.5 tackles for loss. He also posted four sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery and returned his only interception 69 yards for a touchdown.
James finished with the second-most tackles in school history and his 61 career tackles for loss is a new school record.

Bowlin led Class A with a school-record 56 catches and 845 receiving yards. His 10 receiving TDs ranked second. His 93 career catches rank second in school history.
Squires helped the L-S offense score 55 touchdowns this fall, which ranked tied for fourth in the class. The Hawks also ranked 16th with 3,138 total yards.
