Lynnville-Sully senior Jakeira Hay ranked in the top 10 in doubles in Class 1A this past summer. She also reached base 46 percent of the time for the Hawk softball team.
Those statistics, and a few others, helped Hay earn honorable mention all-state recognition from the Iowa Girls Coaches Association recently.
