A career year for Newton senior Kadance Ahn landed her on the Class 4A Central District volleyball team which was released recently.
The Cardinals’ best player ranked 10th in 4A with a career-most 338 kills and her .233 kill efficiency also was the best in her career.
Her final season included career-bests in digs, blocks, aces and assists, too. She tallied 261 digs, 35 blocks, 43 aces and 14 assists. Ahn also was 214-of-247 in serves.
Other notable players joining Ahn on the 4A Central District team include Indianola’s Aspen Nelson, Camryn Overton and Tori Runyon, Norwalk’s Noelle Sutcliffe and Grace Dehmer, Dallas Center-Grimes’ Addy Jansen and Knoxville’s Brittany Bacorn.
