BROOKLYN — The Baxter volleyball team played a trio of matches at the BGM tournament on Saturday.
The Bolts lost in straight sets to host BGM and Twin Cedars and the result against Meskwaki Settlement School was not available at press time.
The Bears downed Baxter 25-23, 25-11 and Twin Cedars defeated the Bolts in two sets but those scores also were unavailable.
Adison Bonney and Abbie Meyer led the Bolts in both matches. Against BGM, Bonney finished with five assists, two digs and four aces and Meyer added four kills, four aces and two digs.

Evelyn Boothroyd collected five digs, Caydence Sulzle and Julie Damman each registered four digs and Alyvia Epps tallied two digs. Lydia Pierce also put down two kills.
The Bolts (5-9) were 28-of-35 in serves with 10 aces. BGM served 48-of-49 and had 12 aces.
Ryanne VanDee led the Bears (7-10) with five kills and four digs and she was 12-of-12 in serves.
Meyer put down two kills, had five digs and served three aces in the loss to Twin Cedars (6-13). Bonney added three assists and three kills and Damman chipped in three assists and three digs.
Denver Sulzle added three kills, Pierce and Payge Cripps each tallied two kills and Boothroyd posted four digs.
Caydence Sulzle, Lexi Dart and Alyvia Burdess each registered three digs. The Bolts were 26-of-34 in serves with three aces. Meyer served 8-of-8.
