NEW SHARON — Lynnville-Sully’s volleyball team knocked off a conference rival, got redemption against PCM and went undefeated in pool play at the North Mahaska tournament on Saturday.
The Hawks swept PCM 22-20, 21-19 to avenge an early-season loss and needed three sets to down North Mahaska and Pekin.
L-S defeated the host Warhawks 19-21, 21-15, 15-10 and downed Pekin 21-10, 18-21, 15-7.
In the championship bracket, Lynnville-Sully lost to Pleasantville 25-14, 25-17.
The Mustangs and Hawks played to a 25-23, 23-21 match at the L-S tournament earlier this season.
The Hawks got the better end of things in the latest meeting and Aubree Arthur had five kills and seven digs to lead the way. Alexy Conover also had four kills and 14 digs.

Elise Alberts tallied 11 assists and seven digs, Paige James contributed four kills, three digs and two aces and Majesta Vos added four kills and two digs. James and Vos both had kill efficiencies of .231.
Alaina Roberts chipped in eight digs, Carsyn McFarland secured seven digs and Morgan Jones collected four digs. Kate Harthoorn chipped in three digs.
The Hawks were 40-of-42 in serves with four aces. The Mustangs (10-11) missed nine serves (30-of-39) in two narrow sets and had five aces.
Tori Lindsay led PCM in the loss with four kills, eight digs and three aces.
In the win over North Mahaska (11-7), Conover led the way with six kills, 12 digs and three aces. Arthur added 10 kills, three assists and three digs and James tallied seven kills, seven digs and two aces. Vos put down six kills and had three blocks and four digs.

James’ kill efficiency was .429 and Arthur had a kill efficiency of .320. Alberts registered 20 assists and seven digs, Roberts finished with three assists, 13 digs and two aces, McFarland tallied nine digs and Jones added six digs. Harthoorn dished out three assists.
The Hawks were 48-of-53 with eight aces. North Mahaska served 46-of-47 with seven aces.
Regan Grewe led the Warhawks with 14 digs and four aces and Libby Hargis added seven assists and four digs.
Against Pekin, Conover led the way with nine digs, six aces and two kills. Alberts added 11 digs and eight assists, Vos tallied six kills, two assists and two digs and James put down five kills.
Arthur posted three kills and four aces, McFarland had seven digs, Roberts collected two assists, two kills and five digs and Jones secured two digs.
The Hawks were 45-of-52 with 13 aces. Vos and James posted kill efficiencies of .500 and .267, respectively.
Myah Bainbridge led Pekin (4-12) with four kills, seven digs and three aces.

In the loss to Pleasantville, Arthur put down seven kills and had a kill efficiency of .417. James added three kills, two digs and three aces, Alberts chipped in eight assists and two digs and McFarland collected six digs.
Roberts, Jones and Conover all posted three digs. The Hawks were 27-of-33 in serves with three aces.
Jayden Tibben led Pleasantville (18-6) with seven kills and three aces. The Trojans were 40-of-48 in serves with six aces.
