BAXTER — The Bolts served up 27 aces, had a hitting efficiency of .267 and Baxter’s volleyball team drilled Valley Lutheran 25-8, 25-7, 25-11 during Iowa Star Conference play on Monday.
Abbie Meyer highlighted the night with seven kills and nine aces, but six Bolts had at least two aces and five put down at least two kills in the win.
Meyer’s kill efficiency was .600. Julie Damman finished with 12 assists and two aces, Adison Boney tallied six assists and three kills and Lydia Pierce totaled four kills and six aces.

Alyvia Epps put down two kills and served four aces, Evelyn Boothroyd tallied two digs and two aces, Hannah Huffaker added three kills and Caydence Sulzle chipped in two aces.
The Bolts (5-7 overall, 3-1 in the conference) were 46-of-73 in serves with 27 aces.
The Crusaders (0-11, 0-4) were 19-of-26 in serves and Ava L’Heureux had both of the team’s aces.
