PELLA — Pella Christian’s Isaac Kacmarynski was just too much for PCM’s football team on Friday.
Kacmarynski threw two touchdown passes and rushed for another and dominated on the defensive side of the ball, too, during the Eagles’ 28-7 non-district home win.
Class 1A No. 3 Pella Christian scored at least six points in each of the four quarters and led 21-0 after three to improve to 3-0.
Kacmarynski threw for 160 yards and two scores, rushed for 77 yards and another TD and had 11 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss in the win.
Griffin Olson led the Mustangs (1-2) with 87 yards on 16 carries. Gavin Fenton rushed for 39 yards and had a 17-yard catch and Gabe Hobbs hauled in two passes for 59 yards and the team’s lone touchdown.
