NORTH ENGLISH — John McGill and Kenny Schlosser both went 3-0, four other wrestlers won twice and Colfax-Mingo’s wrestling team finished 2-1 during a road quadrangular on Tuesday.
The Tigerhawks downed host English Valleys/Tri-County 63-18 and defeated Durant 42-33. They lost 71-12 to Sigourney-Keota.
Colfax-Mingo was 8-14 in contested matches on the night. They took seven forfeits in the win over EVTC and five in the victory over Durant. C-M gave S-K six forfeits in that dual.
Against EVTC, Shane Aikin (220), Danica Linn (120) and Austin Lane (160) all won by fall and McGill (16-2) scored an 8-3 win by decision at 145 pounds. C-M was 4-2 in contested matches.

Katie Schlosser (182), Kenny Schlosser (285), Lily Webster (106), Riely Wright (113), Mariah Webster (126), Kylie Doty (132) and Maggie Schroeder (170) all took forfeits.
In the win over Durant, Aikin and McGill both won by fall and Katie Schlosser, Kenny Schlosser, Mariah Webster, Lane and Schroeder all took forfeits.
The two wins against S-K came from Kenny Schlosser and McGill, who both won by pin.
The Tigerhawks were 2-6 in contested matches against both Durant and S-K.

McGill, who moved up to Class 1A No. 10 at 145 in the latest rankings, was 3-0 with two pins and Kenny Schlosser was 3-0 with two forfeit wins.
Mariah Webster and Schroeder both took two forfeits, Aikin (18-2) was 2-1 with two pins and Lane was 2-1 with one pin.
