Bailey Hansen, Logan Bown lead Cardinals at Wayward Social

MARSHALLTOWN — Newton’s girls bowling team began its season with a road win over Marshalltown on Tuesday night.

“It was a good day on the lanes for our girls varsity team and our JV teams,” Newton bowling coach Christie Hughes said. “Our varsity boys struggled today. Marshalltown is always a tough team to compete against. Covering spares is going to be extremely important going forward.”
