PELLA — The Class 1A No. 2 Lynnville-Sully softball team went 1-1 during a weekend tournament at Pella on Saturday.
The Hawks downed the host Lady Dutch, 6-5, and lost 10-0 in five innings to 3A No. 6 North Polk.
L-S (3-2) led Pella 3-0 but had to rally after the Lady Dutch plated four in the fifth and one in the sixth.
The Hawks won the game in walk-off fashion with a single run in the seventh. Pella dropped to 1-3 after the loss.

Denali Conover had three hits and two RBIs at the dish and got the win in the circle. She allowed no earned runs on seven hits with five strikeouts and two walks in seven innings.
The Hawks’ defense was plagued by three errors.
Korinne Jansen tallied two hits, two steals and one walk for the L-S offense. Reagan McFarland chipped in one hit, one run, one RBI and two walks, Caitlin Alberts and Greenlee Smock both scored two runs, Laci Keen tallied one hit, one run and one walk and Elizabeth Squires finished with one hit, one walk and one RBI. Aliya James had one hit and one walk.
Against North Polk (4-1), L-S was limited to two hits. Keen doubled and Jansen singled and Cayler Noun Harder also walked.
James started in the circle and allowed eight runs — six earned — on 11 hits with two walks in four innings. Alberts got one out in the fifth and allowed two runs on two hits with one walk.
