CLARKSVILLE — Sophie Meyer earned all-conference honors at the Iowa Star Conference girls golf tournament on Monday.
Meyer shot a 107 and finished tied for 10th. The top 10 finishers including ties earn all-conference recognition.
Meyer got the final medal after winning a cardback with the other player who finished 10th.
The Bolts were fifth in the seven-team field after shooting a 474. Tripoli won the meet with a 408 followed by Clarksville (411), Don Bosco (429) and North Tama (439). GMG (474) and Colo-NESCO (521) also were in the field.
Meyer’s 107 included a 48 on the front nine. Calleah Frink (121), Allison Colyn (122) and Corryn Padget (124) were the other counting scores. Brianna Dahlke shot a non-counting 142. It was Baxter’s first 18-hole round of the season.
North Tama’s Molly Vogeler was the medalist with a 91. Tripoli’s McKenna Schaufenbuel was the runner-up after shooting a 98.
