SULLY — Jace Johnson returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown and added two more scores the rest of the way in his first career varsity start for the Lynnville-Sully football team, but the Hawks couldn’t quite keep up with state-ranked Pleasantville during a 47-36 non-district home loss on Friday night.
The Hawks outscored the Class 1A Trojans in the second half but fell behind 13-8 after one quarter and were outscored 21-14 in the second.
