Donna Lou Rexroat

Donna Lou Rexroat, 74, of Monroe, passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, at West Ridge Speciality Care in Knoxville. A graveside memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24 at Silent City Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to the Monroe Ambulance and condolences may be left for the family at coburnfuneralhomes.com.

The daughter of David Sr. and Mary (Birkenholtz) Rexroat, Donna was born Oct. 2, 1946, in Newton. Donna graduated from Monroe High School in 1964. She worked at Midland’s Manufacturing. Donna enjoyed sewing, doing crafts and cooking.  

Those left to honor her memory include her brother, David (Dorothy) Rexroat, Jr.; two sisters, JoAnn Acklin and Janet (Gary) Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Charlene McCoy; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn (Gary) Suplee; sister, Carol Rexroat; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Acklin.
