A memorial is planned to celebrate the life of Ruth Kleinendorst, longtime resident of Prairie City and State of Iowa employee, who passed away Aug. 2, 2020.
Ruth had strong ties in both Nebraska, where she was born and in Iowa, where she lived for almost 60 years. Although a graveside service was held in Adams, Neb., last year, no Iowa memorial was possible.
We are now able to recognize Ruth’s strong Iowa connections and her enduring faith with a memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10 at the First Reformed Church in Prairie City, with a reception to follow. The family cordially invites you to this service to remember and honor Ruth, who is greatly missed.
