On Aug. 20, President Trump slammed museums at the Smithsonian Institution for being too “woke,” focusing on “how bad slavery was,” and ordered a review.
I’m reminded that during his speech to the 140th Indiana Regiment a month before his death President Lincoln remarked, “Whenever I hear any one arguing for slavery I feel a strong impulse to see it tried on him personally.”
