Letter to the Editor: Now more than ever

I just heard on Iowa Public Radio that two newspapers per week shut down in this country (!).

Since KCOB/ENERGY 106.7 stopped doing local radio, how would we get the news of what’s happening here and in Jasper County were it not for Newton News?

I just renewed our subscription. I urge Newton residents to do themselves and the community a favor by subscribing or renewing today.
