Sounds like one of the major political parties will be keeping Iowa’s first-in-the-nation caucuses, and the other will not. My earliest memories of the caucuses are from eighth grade. My history teacher reminded us how it’s the last (presidential) election we couldn’t vote in, as we’d be old enough to vote in four years. My math teacher told us how our room the night before was where supporters of political extremist Lyndon LaRouche met. When I was attending college at the University of Iowa, I saw a speech by President Clinton at Carver-Hawkeye Arena just days before the caucuses. I still have my ticket as a souvenir.
The likely changes to the caucus/primary schedule seem to prove how the only constant in life is change.
