Grassley supports family, faith and freedom

In a recent Letter to the Editor, a Pella resident claimed Senator Chuck Grassley doesn’t have a conservative track record. That couldn’t be further from the truth. On every issue that matters, Senator Grassley is a fierce supporter of conservative principles in the U.S. Senate and a strong advocate for President Trump’s agenda. He makes sure to show up every day to fight for us freedom-loving Iowans, which cannot be better exemplified than in his voting record. He didn’t miss a vote for 27 years because he understands we elected him to show up for us.

In a state President Trump carried by 8 percent, we need to count on our Senators to represent us. As Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Grassley worked to confirm President Trump’s federal judicial nominees, including three Supreme Court Justices cementing the 6-3 conservative Supreme Court majority, and he worked to increase security along the southern border by building the wall. Senator Grassley has a 100 percent pro-life voting record as he received an A+ from the Susan B. Anthony’s pro-life scorecard. He was named legislator of the year for defending our Second Amendment rights and he received an A+ from the Family Research Council Action for his support for family, faith and freedom.

Time and time again, Senator Grassley proves he is 100 percent for us. If Iowans want a reliable, conservative fighter in the U.S. Senate, we already have one in Senator Grassley.
