Trees at the museum

keyboard, letter to the editor

Don’t miss the wonderland of Christmas trees that has been created at the Jasper County Historical Museum. It is truly incredible. The museum staff and volunteers began creating this Tree-mendous wonderland in August. Additional Christmas decorating throughout the museum adds to the beauty of the event. The museum is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 5 to 9 p.m., closed on Christmas eve, and Sunday afternoons on Dec. 19 and Dec. 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. There is a $5 admittance fee. Children age 7 and under are free. There are opportunities along the way for donations. Many thanks to the museum staff and volunteers for their vision, creativity and hard work, the business sponsors who helped to make this possible and Van Maanen Electric for the outdoor lighting.
