Jolie Rabedeaux Mouton, age 63, passed away on December 16, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 1, 1962, in Newton, Iowa. Jolie was born and raised in Newton, to parents Richard and Joyce Rabedeaux. She was a graduate of NHN Class of 1980.
Jolie is survived by her loving husband, Kurt Mouton; her brother, Steve Rabedeaux (Cindy), her children, Alexa (Austin) and Robbie (Mary Kate), and her grandchildren Leo and Nora who were the center of her world.
She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending time with her family, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, sharing a good glass of wine, and enjoying a sunny day on the golf course. These passions, along with her love and generosity, will continue to live on through those who were fortunate enough to share moments with Jolie.
Jolie was known for her deeply caring heart. She had a rare gift for making others feel seen; always asking how people were doing and finding genuine ways to connect with everyone she encountered. Her contagious warmth, kindness, and thoughtfulness will leave a lasting impression on the world.
A visitation will be held Sunday, December 28 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. MST at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254).
