Marcus Dittmer, 102, formerly of Newton, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at Glenwood Place in Marshalltown. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Henry Catholic Church with visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Newton. Mitchell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Marcus and his family.
