Margaret Ann Petersen Stotts

Margaret Ann Petersen Stotts, 96, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025.

Born on January 18, 1929, in Newton, Iowa, to Hans and Karen ‘Petesie’ Petersen. She was the younger sister of Norman Petersen. She went to Newton High School along with her husband, Clinton Stotts, married until his passing in 2004.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clinton, her son, Kurt Stotts and her brother, Norman; survived by her son, Mark Stotts, and her daughters, Krisan Miller (née Stotts) and Cynthia Stotts and her husband, Peter Nielsen and her daughter-in-law, Susan Stotts; five grandchildren, Malachi, Matthew, Michael, Nicole, and Shane; five great grandchildren, Audrey, Ethan, Evan, Simon and Sophie. The family requests a moment of reflection on the joy of life in lieu of flowers or donations.
