Linda Jo Barrett Armstrong Curtis

Linda Jo Barrett Armstrong Curtis, was born Oct. 18, 1945, and died June 19, 2021, of a massive heart attack. She was born and raised in Newton.

She leaves behind a daughter, Chrissy (Pete) Menduru; son, Brian (Linzy) Steele; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Susan (Kenneth) McCoy of Des Moines; brother, Mike Barrett of Cameron, Mo., brother, Dennis (Tip) Barrett. She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Barrett Yates; father, Roger Barrett; sister, Sandra Barrett Lowry; and grandmother, Stella Barrett.
