Cut Flower Gardening program to be held at DMACC Inspiration Garden

The Jasper County Master Gardeners invite the public to a free educational program, From Seed to Vase: Annuals for the Cut-Flower Garden at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6 at the DMACC Inspiration Garden in the Garden House, 710 N. Second Ave. W. in Newton.

This engaging program will explore how annual flowers can provide continuous color and abundant cut blooms throughout the growing season. Participants will learn about popular annuals such as cosmos, marigolds, nasturtium and bachelor buttons, while gaining practical knowledge on planting timing, seed versus transplant decisions, succession planting and thoughtful color planning.

Whether you are new to gardening or a seasoned grower, this program offers valuable insights to help you create a vibrant cut-flower garden that brings beauty from seed to vase.

The event is free of charge, thanks to the sponsorship of the Jasper County Master Gardeners.
