The Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce announces the launch of Shop Newton 365, a revitalized and modernized approach to supporting local businesses year-round. This new two-part initiative includes a digital community gift card program and a Shop Local Loyalty Card, both designed to encourage residents and visitors to shop, dine and spend locally.
The Shop Newton 365 digital gift card officially replaces the former paper Chamber Bucks program, offering a smoother, more secure and more convenient experience for both customers and participating businesses. The program is powered by Yiftee, an industry leader in digital gift card platforms.
“Shop Newton 365 is all about celebrating the incredible businesses that make Newton special,” KayLea Marchant, Executive Director of the Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce, said. “This program modernizes how people give and spend locally, while also driving new customers through the doors of our local shops, restaurants and service providers.”
Two Components, One Mission: Keep Spending Local
1. Shop Newton 365 Digital Gift Card
The digital gift card can be purchased by customers online and used at any participating local business. It’s easy for businesses to accept — if they can manually process a credit or gift card, they can accept Shop Newton 365. Benefits include:

• Instant payment to businesses
• Fraud protection handled by Yiftee
• Increased visibility through the Shop Newton 365 business directory
2. Shop Local Loyalty Card
To complement the digital gift card, the Chamber is launching a punch-card loyalty program designed to encourage repeat visits. Customers can collect punches at participating businesses and return completed cards to the Chamber to enter monthly drawings for Shop Newton 365 gift cards.
You’ll get a sneak peek of the loyalty punch card this weekend at Newton Main Street’s Shop Small Saturday 2.0. Punch cards can be picked up at Daughters Boutique Color Bar & Beauty Salon in Newton.
Supporting Local, Strengthening Newton
The Chamber is committed to ensuring that Shop Newton 365 not only drives local spending but also strengthens the relationships between businesses and the community. Participating businesses will receive promotional materials.
