Jasper County Conservation Board will host an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) program at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 at the Jasper County Armory/Annex Building in Newton. The public is invited to come for coffee and a presentation given by Dave Van Waus, long-time member of Jasper County Pheasants Forever.
Van Waus will talk about hitting the chapter’s 40th anniversary milestone and will highlight many of the programs and projects they have achieved.
The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world.
