Theisen’s announces more than $367,000 in grants

Theisen’s Home-Farm-Auto is excited to announce 166 nonprofits in 23 Theisen’s store communities have received a total of $367,000 in grants through the More For Your Community program.

The More For Your Community program is a partnership between Theisen’s and The Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, and its goal is to help address basic needs in communities within a 60-mile radius of a Theisen’s store.

“This grant program is our way of supporting residents of the communities we serve in their time of need,” Chris Theisen, the retailer’s president and CEO, said. “We are so proud to support organizations providing food, shelter, health care, safety and education to children and families in and near our store communities.”

Organizations in Newton receiving funding from the grant are Crisis Canines Of The Midlands, Peck Child Development Center Inc. and Lucy’s Pet Pantry.
