ACU welcomes new head teller

Shawna Sanders has joined the team at Advantage Credit Union as its new head teller. She has been in the financial services industry since 2010, starting her career as a teller and later becoming assistant manager at another financial institution.

Sanders graduated from Newton High School in 2007 and later studied business management at DMACC. She lives in Newton with her husband Jesse and her children Calen and Kinley.

Sanders acknowledges that Newton and Jasper County are hometown communities that value close, personal relationships with customers. She is excited at the opportunity to work for a local institution that is community driven, with the singular goal of benefiting its members.
