Do you know where to vote in Jasper County?

Here’s a list of all the polling places open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 8

Polls will be open next week for the 2022 general election, allowing citizens of Jasper County to cast their votes for county supervisors, House and Senate representatives for the Iowa Legislature, governor, congresswoman, United States senator and more.

All polls in Jasper County will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day on Nov. 8. In-person absentee voting will be held in the auditor’s office until Nov. 7. The auditor’s office is located in Room 201 of the Jasper County Courthouse. For individuals voting at their respective polls, here are the list of precincts:

• Buena Vista, Elk Creek Township: Sully Community Center, 318 Sixth Ave., Sully, Iowa, 50251.

• Clear Creek, Independence Townships: Baxter City Hall, 203 S. Main St., Baxter, Iowa, 50028.

• Colfax Ward 1: Jasper County Fairgrounds, 359 N. Walnut St., Colfax, Iowa, 50054.

• Colfax Ward 2: Jasper County Fairgrounds, 359 N. Walnut St., Colfax, Iowa, 50054.

• Colfax Ward 3: Jasper County Fairgrounds, 359 N. Walnut St., Colfax, Iowa, 50054.

• Des Moines Township: Prairie City Community Building, 503 S. State St., Prairie City, Iowa, 50228.

• Fairview Township: Monroe City Hall, 206 W. Sherman St., Monroe, Iowa, 50170.

• Hickory Grove, Kellogg, Mariposa, Rock Creek Townships: Kellogg City Hall, 417 Front St., Kellogg, Iowa, 50135.

• Lynngrove, Richland Township: Sully Community Center, 318 Sixth Ave., Sully, Iowa 50251.

• Newton City Ward 2, Precinct 1: Immanuel Baptist Church, 1300 N. Fourth Ave. E., Newton, Iowa, 50208.

• Pale Alto Township: Reasnor City Hall, 312 North St., Reasnor, Iowa, 50232.

Remember, voters are required by state law to produce a photo ID at polls. Acceptable forms of ID include an Iowa driver’s license, Iowa non-operator ID, U.S. passport, U.S. military ID, U.S. veterans ID, tribal ID or voter ID PIN card.
