Bank Iowa hires Newton native as assistant vice president, relationship manager

Bank Iowa has appointed Carson Claypool as an assistant vice president, relationship manager, at its Newton location. A native of Newton, Claypool previously worked as an ag/commercial loan officer at Iowa State Savings Bank in Creston.

“We are very pleased to welcome a Newton native home and to the Bank Iowa team,” Tim Franklin, Bank Iowa vice president of lending, said. “Carson is well positioned to empower Bank Iowa clients to achieve financial success with tailored customer service.”

Claypool earned his bachelor’s degree from Central College and looks forward to being an active member in Newton and the surrounding community.
