The 1944 Newton Senior High class celebrates its 75th year since graduation with a noon lunch at Park Centre Garden Room. The class had 150 members with 23 being in the armed forces. Visiting classmates enjoyed a lot of “remember when” and “remember who” in the conversation. The class motto was “When we build, let us build forever” and cherry red and white were the colors. Those attending were, from left, Jack Streeter, Betty Ponder Debban, Myrtle Kingery Schwarz, Verle Summers and Alice Trevethan Beatty. (Submitted )
