Associated Builders and Contractors of Iowa
RIVERSIDE — Associated Builders and Contractors of Iowa (ABC) hosted a graduation ceremony for the association’s 227 apprentices. The graduates completed 576 hours of classroom training and 8,000 on-the-job training hours. Among this year’s graduates, ABC honored Fletcher Christy of Newton — Plumbing: Warnick & Reeves Mechanical, as one of four with the Outstanding Graduate Award. The Outstanding Graduate Award is given to the exceptional apprentice in each trade. Each of these graduates was nominated by an instructor based on attendance, attitude, effort, grades, participation and for going above and beyond.
Cedarville University
CEDARVILLE, OH — The following students were named to the dean’s honor list at Cedarville University for spring 2022: Abigail Adkison of Newton, Alexis Farver of Newton, Abigail Gosselink of Otley, Peter Larson of Newton, Jason Stafford of Prairie City. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 grade point average or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.
