The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is looking to Lock Up Hunger this holiday season and help feed families in need in Jasper County.
Members of the community can help achieve this goal of collecting 100 pounds of food for the Salvation Army Food Pantry in Newton.
Donations can be dropped off at the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office at 2300 Law Center Drive between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. through Dec. 22.
If you would like to help out with a monetary donation instead, make checks payable to the Salvation Army and can be left at or mailed to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office at 2300 Law Center Drive, Newton, IA 50208.
