IowaWORKS, in conjunction with local partners, will host a job fair from 7 a.m. to noon and 1 to 6 p.m. Dec. 9 and from 7 a.m. to noon Dec. 10, at the DMACC Newton Campus, 600 N. Second Ave. W., in response to the recent layoff announcement from TPI Composites.
Due to high employer demand, the job fair will take place across three different sessions and is open to the general public. More than 130 employers in the region are scheduled to take part in the job fair.
Iowa Workforce Development and IowaWORKS remain committed to providing employment services to impacted TPI employees and job seekers in the area. An employer directory will be available at the job fair. Individuals impacted by the closure of TPI Composites and members of the general public are encouraged to attend.
