Donna May Hadsall

Donna May Hadsall, age 88 of Marshalltown, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown.  No services will be held at this time.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Ted and Leanna (Donaldson) Cross, Donna was born on August 30, 1935, in Colfax.  She graduated from Colfax High School in 1953.  On July 11, 1953, she was united in marriage to Joseph Hadsall in Colfax.  Donna and Joe moved from Colfax to Abilene, Kansas for two years, then Grinnell for a year before settling in Marshalltown in 1964.  Donna worked in the offices at the Monroe Table Company for several years.  She also worked at Hansen Photo Studio in Grinnell and the Sandy Studio in Colfax as a photo color artist.  Once in Marshalltown, she worked in the school food services.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Joe; two daughters, Debra (Steve) Lindeman, Diana (Larry) Couch, 14 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.  Also surviving is her sister, Alice (John Sr.) Borts; a sister-in-law, Linda Cross; and two sons-in-law, Dave Tychsen and Wes Etter.  Preceding Donna in death were her parents,  two daughters, Susan Tychsen and Shelley Etter; her step-father, Gale Tilton; infant sister, Ellen and a brother Wayne Cross.
