Veterans receive quilts from quilt club

Baxter Quilt Club presented five quilts to Baxter area veterans at the recent Veterans Day program at Baxter School. Club members have made and presented 61 of the Quilts of Valor since starting in 2014. Club members are Cynthia Baldwin, Linda Glenn, Beth Simbro, Chris Tipton and Marie Van Beek. This year’s deserving recipients were, from left, Mike Brant, Rion England, Tom Larson, Jerry Ratliff and Jason Hill.
