Bank Iowa Colfax temporarily relocates to city hall

Bank Iowa will temporarily relocate to Colfax City Hall, beginning April 13. The planned demolition of the Briggs Building is set to close the main highway, affecting all traffic and operation inside the Bank Iowa building. Bank Iowa anticipates reopening its office by April 22. 

Inside city hall, Bank Iowa will offer regular transactional services from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This includes withdrawals, deposits and cash/coin exchange. The following services will be unavailable: night drop, access to safety deposit boxes, drive-thru services and ATM access.

If customers would like to retrieve materials from their safety deposit boxes, they are encouraged to visit the bank prior to its temporary relocation. Customers looking to use the other unavailable services or customers who need to transact on the weekends are asked to visit the bank’s Newton or Altoona locations.
