The Iowa Rural Water Association (IRWA) announced Greg Huff of Colfax, was inducted into the IRWA Hall of Fame during the Iowa Rural Water Association’s 47th Annual Conference Feb. 21-23 in Des Moines.

This award is presented to an individual who has made a significant contribution to IRWA either legislatively or in other capacities such as service to the IRWA Board, and or active participation in IRWA committees and other functions. Huff joined the Iowa Rural Water Association April 16, 1992, as an office manager. Over the course of his 30 years, he has served in several capacities and since 2006, after serving a period of time as Interim CEO, he has been the Chief Executive Officer of IRWA. In May of 2021, Huff retired, but now serves part-time as the IRWA Training Specialist. He is the longest-tenured IRWA employee in history.

Huff is married to Lynn Ghormley and they have two sons, Benjamin and Alexander. Huff and Ghormley started a new initiative in Colfax called Co-Mingle, which is a shared rental space where professionals can rent an office and share common spaces.
