Peggy reported that she will be obtaining a grant for us from Principal for her work hours in two installments of $800 and $200 by the end of this year. We really appreciate her efforts on this grant.
Larry D. gave a report on the rental committee’s work on the new contract for renters. It is still a “work in progress.”
Shawn did receive correspondence from the IDOT about placing a sign by I-80 on the Cogley Land. He is working on it with Aaron.
Karen, nominating committee chairperson, presented the proposed list of officers and 3-year term board members who will be voted on at the annual meeting next month. We would like to have good attendance at that meeting.
Shawn had a discussion about repairing the log cabin roof and said he, Stanley and Doug Wilson will be in charge of repairing the log cabin roof.
Jasper County Museum asked if we would like to decorate a tree at Christmas time this year. Peggy, Larry H., Cindy L. and Heather will help with this project.
Shawn will talk more about the IDOT easement and culvert change in July 2022, Monday to Friday at our next meeting.
A big thank you to all of our volunteers.
