Kevin O’Neal

Kevin O’Neal came into this world Feb. 25, 1961 in Des Moines — a joyous day!

He passed peacefully at his own home with his family around him in Eugene, Ore., March 10, 2021.

Kevin was predeceased by his wife Joyce O’Neal. He is survived by his mother, Karen Perry-O’Neal; his sister, Patricia Jaszkowski; brother-in-law, Ralph Jaszkowski; and sister-in-law, Jackie Short.

Kevin was a sweet and caring son to his mother and had many wonderful and loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His best buddy, Rocket the cat, will miss him dearly. Kevin was happiest spending time at the Oregon coast, deep sea fishing, rafting and boating on Oregon’s many beautiful rivers and lakes, and camping with his friends. Kevin had a great fondness for a variety of music — especially blues, soul and rock. Animals of all kinds had a tender place in Kevin’s heart and they knew it. He had a kind and tender heart and he will be heart-breakingly missed.

In memory of Kevin a donation may be made to an animal shelter, homeless shelter or food pantry of your choosing, as these would be Kevin’s choice.

Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. There will not be a public service.
