The Kellogg Fire Department is one of the three Jasper County rural towns to receive a grant from the American Heart Association to buy a monitor that transmits messages to hospitals. The monitor allows paramedics and EMTs to communicate with doctors and relay where patients need to go. (Kayla Langmaid)
