Baxter schools move to Hybrid Learning Plan

District announced switch Monday afternoon

The Baxter Community School District announced Monday afternoon it will move to a hybrid learning plan effective Tuesday for two weeks. Students will be divided into two groups, last names A-K group 1 and L-Z group 2, and attend on site school on alternate days during this time.

Group 2 will be have in person learning Nov. 3, 5, 9, 11 and 16. Alternately, Group 1 will be on site Nov. 4, 6, 10 and 12.

There will be no late starts on Mondays during this time. The district plans to return to the regular schedule Nov. 17 if possible.

If students have trouble with internet access, hot spots are available at the Voc Ag building and the sports complex. No physical access to these buildings is available while you are remote learning.
