Still wanting to help

First Baptist Church would like to thank the community for their support of JCARL by donating their cans and bottles. Now that the Animal Rescue League has been closed, the First Baptist Church mission board has decided to help by using the donations towards helping its community. How much we will be able to do will depend on the donations received. The income from the cans and bottles has averaged about $2,000 a year. The FBC mission board would like to do things like painting a house, repair sidewalks, etc. We would hire someone to do such projects and in so doing, would provide some work projects for local contractors, thus providing them with additional work. In that manner, we would be helping the community in more than one way. It helps the landowner, the property around them and helping someone make a living. So, I am asking you to keep donating your cans and bottles.

Please separate the bottles from the cans so the person sorting them doesn’t cut off a finger! Also please clean out the bottles so there are no maggots. They are no fun to work with either.
